Our tester, who was sent the large 2.5-pound ice pack, found it slightly oversized for a home freezer: The tester would have been able to squeeze a second one in, but it would have been tight if they wanted to add more items to the freezer. Our tester left a cooler containing the ice pack in a car on an 80-degree day and was pleased that it performed as advertised: A bottle of apple cider and fresh vegetables stayed cold for four hours and remained in great condition for about seven hours.
